I've tried blogging before, but it somehow always gets away from me. I get all these good intentions, but then it just falls flat.
But now? I need an outlet of some kind. Somewhere to talk without anyone interrupting.
I'm Krystina! I'm 27 (yikes) and have an amazing 8 month old daughter. I've been married for over 5 years to my husband, Jeremy. We have two kitties, a dog, and a leopard gecko.
Currently I live in San Jose, California. I love California so much! I did some growing in my two years here. I learned to listen to my own brain and I became a momma here.
We adopted our daughter, Rosie, at birth. I was in the room when she was born via scheduled c-section on August 29, 2013 at 7:52 AM. I held her when she was just 6 minutes old and she's been my sweet baby ever since. I'm forever grateful to her birth parents for our girl. She's not so tiny anymore. She weighed 5 lbs. 6 oz. at birth and my little love is now 18 lbs. 15 oz! She's also super mobile and fast, and it's obvious that she's the center of my world.
We are getting ready to pack up and move back to our little village in Michigan. My husband never was really happy out here in CA and his father has had some serious health issues. Pair that with Rosie being their only grandchild (and I married their only child), and it just makes sense to move. I'm hoping it goes well, but I'm definitely nervous.
